[VOL] 31-03-2017 HB-Café Delft: ‘Atypical ánd normal: an additional perspective how to accept your giftedness’

In Archief Delft by HB-Café Delft

Op 31 maart zal in Delft een Engelstalig HB-Café met twee buitenlandse sprekers gehouden worden met het thema: ‘Atypical ánd normal: an additional perspective how to accept your giftedness’. Dit HB-Café is volgeboekt.

Do you often have the feeling of being ‘different’? Do you function in general quite well, but still feel bothered that you cannot accept yourself as you would like to? Did you try psychotherapy or did you have serious thoughts about that?
IHBV invited two presenters from abroad: Lisa Erickson (Seattle, USA) and Maggie Brown (Kirikiri, New Zealand). They are psychotherapists with a long experience of working with gifted adults. IHBV has invited them to come over and share their knowledge and expertise with professionals and with gifted adults.

In this interactive HB-Café the presenters will take you into the exploration of your giftedness. Themes that will come along are: giftedness and trauma, addiction, being atypical and acceptance. We hope that by offering an additional perspective of being gifted, this evening will lead to another way of experiencing yourself.

We expect many attendees, so we will have two rooms, altogether 50 people can join in and we work in two separate groups.
Fully booked!
On March 31 the doors of the HB-cafe open at 18.30. The content part lasts from 19:00 to 21:45 with a break halfway. Untill approcimately 23:00 we can (possibly while sipping a drink) chat with each other.
